Many drivers think only of the large traction battery, but the 12V auxiliary battery is still critical to wake systems, close contactors, and keep electronics alive.

Low 12V symptoms

• The car won't wake or screens stay off.
• Lost settings or intermittent warnings when opening the door.

Traction battery symptoms

• Power cuts, severe limiting, or thermal messages.
• Accelerated range loss (have SOH checked in a workshop).
